This beautiful natural honey blonde 8-compartment tea box is made of high quality environmentally friendly bamboo.  Holding over 80 tea bags (not included), this handcrafted bamboo tea box, is actually much harder and stronger than traditional hardwood like oak or maple.  A special heating process is used to carmelize the natural sugar in the Bamboo producing the lovely permanent honey blonde color.  It is not a stain.  It is then laminated with a food safe glue.
